What is an estate sale, exactly?
An estate sale is a professionally managed sale of personal property, held in the owner’s home. It’s often used when someone is downsizing, moving, or handling a loved one’s estate. It is a curated, elevated sale — with pricing, staging, and promotion handled by experts.
How does the process work?
We start with a free consultation to understand your needs. Then we sort, stage, price, and advertise the sale. On sale days, we manage everything onsite — from customer service to transactions. After the sale, we can help with clean-outs, donation drop-offs, and more.
How long does it take to organize an estate sale?
Most estate sales take about 1 to 2 weeks to prepare, depending on the size of the estate and scope of services. We’ll work with your timeline and keep things as stress-free as possible.
Do I need to clean or organize before you come?
Not at all — please don’t! We prefer to see everything as-is so we can properly assess what’s sellable. You might be surprised what has value!
What happens to items that don’t sell?
We offer several options: donation coordination, clean-out services, or even a haul out. We’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your needs and priorities.
How are items priced?
We use market research, local demand, and experience to price items fairly and competitively. Our goal is always to get the best value for you while ensuring a successful sale.
How much do estate sale services cost?
We work on a commission basis — meaning we only get paid when your items sell. Our rate depends on the scope of the sale, but everything is discussed up front, with no surprise fees.
Can you help with downsizing or moving sales?
Yes! Estate sales aren’t just for estates. Whether you’re relocating, simplifying, or clearing out a second home, we’ve got you covered.
Where do you hold estate sales?
We primarily serve the Austin, TX area, including surrounding cities like Round Rock, Cedar Park, Westlake, and more. Not sure if we cover your area? Just ask!
